The Joy of Pepsi!!!

So..Here We Go!! I know the past few days Bri and I have been discussing the "Coke Side of Life" but tonight we are going to talk about "The Joy of Pepsi". I know you all remember before Britney went crazy(I still don't think she is crazy, but to each his own), and the Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Baaaaaaaaaa The Joyyyy of Pepsiiiiiiii song was stuck in all of our heads. The forever classic ad that stole all of our hearts.
Although I believe Always Coca Colaaaaaa is a fun slogan to sing, the Bah Bah Bah Joy of Pepsi song by far took Pepsi to a whole new level. Pepsi really took the cake by having the girl all the boys wanted and all the girls wanted to be like singing the Pepsi theme song.
So tell us what you thing....Always Coca Cola or The Joy of Pepsi?

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to Mallory and Brianna's retail blog. Mallory and I are both Juniors at UNCG and are curently enrolled in "Integrated Marketing Communications in Apparel and Consumer Retailing". It is through this class that our blogging journey has begun, as it is one of our assingments. Neither of us have ever blogged before, so we are both very excited to venture into the world of blogging. Throughout the semester we will be adding, weekly, our thoughts about advertisments, fashion, and other various marketing techniques (so be sure to check back with us weekly!).

One night, as Mallory and I (mallory is my roommate) were watching tv we came across a pepsi max commercial (you know the one where everyone is yawning and the slogan is "wake up people!"). As we were watching the commercial we started talking about Pepsi versus Coke and who had the better Slogan. We both sat there and tried to think of other pepsi commercials from the past. However, neither of us could think of any (other then the one we had just witnessed on TV). We then started thinking of coke ads and of course, right away, we thought of the "always coca cola" ad and both started singing the song. However, instead of racking our brains for hours, we did what any smart college student would do, we grabbed our laptops and searched through youtube. Coke, having so many classic ads, we decided, after much deliberation, that it would be the focus of our first post..."The Coke Side of Life".
